Privacy notice
Rethinking Hiring is an educational series by SimplifiedIQ. This notice explains, in plain English, what personal data we collect through this site and how we handle it, in line with Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect
- Sign-up form: first name, work email, the role that best describes you, your organisation (optional), the resource you asked for, and your consent choice.
- Contact form: name, work email, organisation, enquiry type and your message.
- Campaign data: the UTM tags in the link you used to reach us (source, medium and campaign) and the page address you signed up from.
- Download activity: which resource was downloaded and the campaign source, without identifying you.
Why we use it
- To send you the resource you asked for.
- To send you the weekly Rethinking Hiring email and news of the Hiring Clinic.
- To reply to your enquiries.
- To understand which channels bring people to the series, so we can improve it.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on our forms or by sending us an enquiry. You can withdraw it at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you unsubscribe, or for 24 months after your last interaction with us, whichever comes first. We then delete it.
Who processes it
Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf, under contracts that require them to keep it secure. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, including by using the unsubscribe link in any email.
You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
